Security measures at our hotel after the Covid19 outbreak

We are in a remote area in South Iceland and our hotel is small, only 13 rooms, therefore the risk of meeting a large crowd is little. The size of the hotel makes it easy for us to control all sanitary measures thoroughly.

    1. We provide alcohol-based hand sanitizer, please use it
    2. We provide facemasks to all our guests, feel free to ask for it
    3. Please remember to practice social distancing during your stay
    4. The breakfast will be served buffet style, please remember social distancing
    5. Only if you are staying as a guest in our hotel it is possible to have dinner in the restaurant, please remember social distancing
    6. We offer speedy check-in and check-out process
    7. We prefer a (contactless) payment by card/credit-card
    8. Disinfectants will be applied during routine cleaning of guestrooms and public spaces
    9. We have trained our housekeeping staff to use the disinfectants safely and correctly. Staff will wear gloves when cleaning
    10. We remind guests to wash hands with soap and warm water frequently
    11. Linens may become contaminated with the virus, so we will add disinfectants when washing laundry. Bed scarfs and bedspreads will be washed more frequently
    12. We specially focus on all contact surfaces in public areas and guestrooms like all flat surfaces, remote controls, toilet flush handles, door handles, water faucet handles, tables in the lobby area and room keys
    13. Kitchens and kitchen appliances will be sanitized more frequently
