Enjoy and relax at our Thermal baths

Thermal Baths

All guests have access to our thermal baths which include an outdoor and indoor pool with warm geothermal water, a cold water pool, a sauna room, and a massage.

A visit to Iceland isn’t complete without a dip in one of the thermal pools.

Our hot tub is a geothermal pool with water that comes from 300 meters beneath the surface. It comes up through the lava, which means that it’s collecting all the minerals.

We are trying to imitate natural baths, so don’t expect facilities with marble walls and floors.

With a temperature of around 36-40 degrees Celcius (96 to 104 Fahrenheit), our thermal pool is about 8 x 4 meters in size and 1,2 meters deep.

The warm water flows through the pool constantly, which ensures that the current always keeps the pool clean.

However, make sure you wash thoroughly – at your room – before heading to our pool.

Sand can be seen on the bottom which comes with the water, and stairs and benches can sometimes turn a green color, due to the algae that grow in hot water. But it´s all-natural dirt.

Due to the richness of the minerals in the water, bathing is said to have therapeutic and healing benefits.

It was fantastic having the chance to unwind and relax in the warm water after a fantastic day exploring this beautiful country.
